Second and Third Load of Road Gravel - 6-15-2018 - Rave Bros.

Lean-to Area for Mechanical Items

Rain Delay  6-16 thru 6-20-2018

(at least 3 inches over 6 days)

Revisions - will revise plan - move rear door north to allow lean-to addition for mechanical items.  

6-22-2018 - Rain Stopped for about a day

The Concrete Professionals were able to get in and drill holdes in the existing slabor for rebar, and fill forms with road gravel, then level it.  Then they put down a #4 rebar grid for the new slab.  They told me they were short 24 pieces on the top that they would bring just before they pour.  They they quickly covered it with a plastic tarp as rain was "imminent" just after noon on June 22, 2018.

Back Door Location markers were moved 24" to the north to clear the future mechanical room walls.

 It was beginning to hail when contractor Brad was loading his DEERE.

More rain/hail on June 22-23-24, 2018

Lots of standing water on the tarp over the gravel and outside the forms.

june 25, 2018.  The Concrete Professionals pumped lots of water from the plastic covering the gravel in the forms.  They added the last pieces of rebar.  Then they extended the forms by 3" at the southeast corner as requested by Darrell this morning.  This will give him a place for the garage wall to be.





They plan to pour the slab tomorrow morning Tuesday June 26, 2018, starting at 6:15 am!
